Sylvia Jeffreys and her husband Pete Stefanovic have announced the birth of their second baby boy, Today can exclusively reveal.

The couple named their son Henry George Stefanovic. The new arrival weighed in at 3.5 kg and was born on Good Friday.

The "happy news" was announced by Today host, and Henry's uncle, Karl Stefanovic this morning.

Jeffreys, host of Today Extra, confirmed mum and baby are doing well.

This is the second child for the couple. Little Henry joins Oscar, who turned one in February.

"His big brother is fascinated. His mother is now well and truly outnumbered and couldn't be happier," Jeffreys said.

Jeffreys and Stefanovic were married in NSW's Kangaroo Valley in 2017.
