Support the milk levy

Dairy farmers are campaigning for a 10-cent per litre drought levy to be introduced on all milk to try and keep businesses afloat during the drought.

Shane Hickey, from Kyogle in northern NSW, who has previously compared being a dairy farmer with slavery, has teamed up with Queensland Dairyfarmers Organisation to kick off a change.org petition calling on parliament to introduce the levy despite the fact that a similar proposition was voted down in the Senate last month.
