Security expert's live Today interview interrupted by mystery 'feather duster'
Gaza ceasefire talks are currently underway in Egypt with peace brokers discussing the terms of US President Donald Trump's 20-point plan.
The talks fall exactly two years on from the deadly October 7 Hamas attacks, a serious topic which security expert, Will Geddes, joined Today to discuss.
However, during an important junction in the discussion where Geddes was speaking on whether Hamas will ease control in the area to allow the changes, a surprise visitor gatecrashed the live interview.

"Sorry, it is a serious topic... but what is that feather duster doing coming into the shot?" host Karl Stefanovic asked his guest, as a bushy black item appeared from the corner of the screen.
Geddes remained a professional, attempting to subtly swat the mystery item away from the camera, without breaking the discussion.
"That's my cat, I'm afraid, I am sorry about that," he smiled.

But while Geddes got back on topic with answering the latest question asked of him - Karl and co-host, Jayne Azzopardi, were transfixed, asking if Geddes could introduce his pet cat - named Mouse, to Today viewers properly.
"Alright my man, thank you for dealing with all of that and especially your cat trying to make an appearance on Aussie TV," Karl said.
