Sara's Legacy

Through the devastating loss of their daughter, Julie and her husband Mark came to know the complexity of traumatic grief and that everyone experiences grief in different ways, yet realised there was nowhere to turn to that provided a comprehensive range of therapies to treat grief holistically in one place. This is where is idea of Sarz Sanctuary was born.

The couple are now launching a not-for-profit charity in their daughter’s name, Sarz Sanctuary. The charity’s mission is to open a healing sanctuary for those experiencing traumatic grief so that they can find peace and support through holistic, personalised care. Julie and Mark are asking the nation to come together to raise funds for the charity so they can make their vision a reality.
