It was a huge night in Las Vegas with some of the music industries biggest names out in force for the 52nd American Music Awards.

K-Pop group, BTS, celebrated their grand return to the AMA stage, following a four year hiatus and opened the show with their song, Hooligan.

They also went on to win the top award of the night, taking home Artist of The Year, while girl group, KatsEye won Best New Artist.

The girls from K-Pop Demon Hunters took home Song of the Year for their track, Golden.

It was also a night of nostalgia, with Queen Latifah returning to the AMA stage after co-hosting 31 years ago and three of the Pussycat Dolls performed a medley of their greatest hits.

The Black Eyed Peas also reunited after their 2010 track, Rock That Body, won the award for Best Throwback Song.

New Kids On The Block performed as well and the legendary Billy Idol closed the show with a rocking performance after accepting the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Despite being the most nominated, with eight nods... Taylor Swift was a no show on the night and that's probably a good thing because she did not win in any of her nominated categories.

All in all, it was a great night celebrating music and if you want to watch it back, the 52nd American Music Awards is streaming on Stan now.
