How Osher Gunsberg's chronic pain almost cost him his marriage

For almost three decades, Osher Gunsberg has been a mainstay on Australian screens, hosting some of the biggest reality shows in television history.

But in recent years, between juggling his work on The Bachelor, The Masked Singer, as well as several podcasts and radio hosting gigs, Osher has been suffering in silence.

The 50-year-old has been on a long, powerful journey to discover more about his own relationship with chronic pain, and in his new documentary, he invites others to share their story.

Not only does it showcase Osher's personal experience with chronic pain, but also how it impacted the lives of those around him, he told Today Extra.

"I didn't really have a problem with pain, I had a relationship problem because I had so much pain that was so bad I couldn't get my breath right and my wife would ask me to take the bins out and I would turn around with this 'what did you just say' look on my face," he said.

"She'd see that look and the fight would start and I just thought, I'm going to get divorced, well I've already done that and I don't want to do that again, so I was like, 'this has to change'.

"And because it sucks so much out of your day, so Audrey is a big part of the film because she speaks about how our relationship and also the relationship with the kids and stuff gets affected."
