'Stop the presses': Jacinda Ardern comment leaves Karl Stefanovic stoked
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern made an admission on Today this morning, that left Karl Stefanovic grinning from ear to ear.
It came as the pair discussed the upcoming travel bubble between Australia and New Zealand, which is slated to begin April 19.

Australia, New Zealand is back on the cards. Today
The Today host asked the politician how travel would work should an outbreak occur.
"Can we talk through some of the mechanics of this. How will quarantine travel work? What does it look like? You have said flyer beware. Why?," he asked. Ms Ardern said that New Zealand would essentially function as another state of Australia.
"The same way that anyone in Australia who is travelling between states is prepared for outbreaks and there possibly being disruption, and again can't believe I am saying this, view New Zealand is another state in that way," she said.
The admission stopped Karl in his tracks.
Not much leaves Karl speechless. Today
"Whoa, whoa, stop the presses," he said.
"Just for that particular scenario is all I'm saying," Ms Ardern quickly added with a grin.
"If there is a hot spot in one of the states of Australia we may just act in the same way that another state would, with just limitation of people to come in and out of our borders until that issue is resolved.
Smiling Karl said he was shocked she referred to New Zealand as part of Australia.

"I'm just glad that you called New Zealand another state of Australia. It's a huge admission from a Kiwi PM."
Ms Ardern laughed. "Purely for this exercise," she said.
To get Ms Arden excited about travel Karl then asked the prime minister to sing along to Dave Dobbyn's hit song "Slice of Heaven".
As the lyrics "Her love shines over my horizon" played out, Ms Ardern flatly refused.
"There is absolutely zero chance of me singing along to this track right now," she said.
