'Immediately hot': Karl sweats through spicy burger challenge
The Today hosts can handle a lot of heat in their roles as journalists.
But one segment this morning had Karl Stefanovic actually sweating bullets.
Betty's Burgers' new $17 Madman burger is described as a "crispy chicken breast layered with fiery gochujang sauce and Carolina Reaper chilli infusion, topped with fresh tomato, lettuce and slaw on a toasted bun".

Because of its use of the Carolina Reaper chilli in the new sauce, the new burger is on the upper end of the Scoville heat scale and consumers must sign a waiver before they try it.
"That is immediately hot," Karl said, after taking some of the lettuce off the burger to get stuck into the spicy chicken breast.
"That is definitely a whoah, it's building and if you get some on your cheek - it is like a furnace," he added as he appeared to physically struggle with how intense the burger was.
