How K'gari's rangers reacted to four dingoes attacking a 23-year-old jogger

The ranger-in-charge on Queensland's K'gari has said her team do everything they can to keep residents and visitors informed about the risk of dingoes on the island.

Dr Linda Behrendorff said staff spoke to more than 95 people yesterday morning to warn them after a 23-year-old was mauled by four dingoes while going on a morning run.

"We do everything we can to get those messages out," she said.

Dr Behrendorff said rangers were working to investigate which dingoes were involved in the "very frightening and harrowing ordeal" before taking any action.
