What's happening in entertainment news today
It was a night of reunions, surprises and history at the 2024 Emmy Awards, with Shogun raking in a record 18 Emmys, breaking the record held by Game of Thrones previously, for most Emmys held by a show in a single season.
The Bear was able to cook up some major Emmy wins with Jeremy Allen White taking home his second Emmy for lead actor in a comedy.
And Aussie actor Elizabeth Debicki won her first Emmy for her portrayal of Princess Diana in The Crown.

And Steve Martin made a dig at Nicole Kidman while he was presenting the first award alongside his Only Murders in the Building co-stars, Martin Short and Selena Gomez.

In other news, it is a sad day for Michael Jackson's family.
His older brother Tito, a member of the Jackson Five, has died at the age of 70.
It's believed he may have suffered a heart attack.
Tito was the third of nine Jackson kids and he played guitar and sang in the family band.

Finally, Netflix has announced that Bridgerton season four is officially in production and I'm excited.
We've been given a first look at the new leading couple and it has a little bit of an Aussie touch.
Next season's love story follows Benedict and his love interest Sophie, who is played by Aussie actress and Sydneysider Yerin Ha.
