Bill Shorten and Peter Dutton reveal their favourite Olympic moments
All eyes are on Paris this week as the city of lights prepares for what's anticipated to be one of the greatest Olympics in history.
Every four years athletes from all over gather to compete against one another, with fans from right across the globe cheering them to gold.
And while Opposition Leader, Peter Dutton and Minister for NDIS and Government Services, Bill Shorten, are often at loggerheads when they appear on Today, the pair shared which Olympic moments of the pst were their favourite.

"I was very lucky to be in Sydney when Cathy Freeman ran the 400 metres in 2000, that was electric," Shorten said.
"There were 100,000 people at Homebush and everyone had goosebumps upon goosebumps watching that young woman running for Australia and when she won, I am getting goosebumps now thinking about it."
Dutton's favourite moment was a little further back during the Atlanta 1996 Games.

"I will show my age I think, but Kieren Perkins in the 1500 metre freestyle at the '96 Games was spectacular," he said.
"A lot of the swimming, I think the personal efforts across any discipline, it is an amazing sacrifice they make."
