TIME magazine deny giving Trump ‘devil horns’ on cover

TIME magazine has denied giving President-elect Donald Trump a devilish makeover on the cover of their “Person of the Year” issue.

Eagle-eyed US comedian Jeremy McLellan took to Twitter earlier today to point out the magazine’s “strategically” placed letter “M”.

“Donald Trump may have won Person of the Year, but TIME wins Magazine of the Year for using the ‘M’ to give him devil horns,” Mr McLellan tweeted.

More than 1,000 users “liked” the post, however TIME has fervently dismissed the claims as “entirely coincidental”.

Soon after, the publication tweeted a gallery of past cover stars, including Hillary Clinton and Margaret Thatcher, who were on “the rough end of TIME’s horns".
