Tiger cubs take first walk outside Dreamworld nursery

They’re only six weeks old but nothing is stopping the cutest cubs in town from exploring the outside world for the very first time.

Melati and Mya have spent the start of their lives in a custom-built but secluded nursery. Now they’re ready to meet the public.

Dreamworld’s Tiger Island will be facilitating public walks of the cubs, a chance for guests to meet and pat the cute couple.

They don’t know it yet but they’ll become the face of tiger conservation work, run through Dreamworld.

It’s perfect timing ahead of the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and discussions are underway for the pair to feature in the opening or closing ceremonies.
