Three people rushed to hospital after crash on Bribie Island Bridge

Three people have been taken to hospital after a crash on the Bribie Island Bridge, north of Brisbane.
Paramedics rushed to the scene around 12.30pm following reports two cars had crashed and caught fire.

All three patients suffered chest and abdominal injuries and were taken to hospital in serious conditions.
The accident forced police to close the bridge in both directions, causing major delays for drivers in surrounding areas.
