Three charged over alleged sexual assault on teenage girl in Sydney car park

Three people have been charged over the alleged sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl in the stairwell of a car park in Liverpool, south-west of Sydney.

At about 9.20pm on Saturday 21 June, the teen was in the forecourt of a library on George Street, when she was approached by a group of six men.

Police allege the girl spoke briefly with the group, before she was invited to meet a mutual friend.

She walked with the group to a nearby car park, where it is alleged two of the males sexually assaulted her in a stairwell.

The girl’s mobile phone was also allegedly stolen from her handbag during the assault.

Two 16-year-old boys and a 20-year-old man have been arrested and charged.

The trio will front court tomorrow.
