Thieves flee with soft drink after ramming car through shop

Police are hunting for three men who stole two bottles of soft drink after ramming a vehicle through the front of a shop on the NSW mid-north coast.

Just before 5am yesterday, police were called to a business on Forth Street, Kempsey, following reports a silver-coloured Subaru station had reversed and smashed into the doors of the shop.

CCTV footage shows the rear of the car smash through the front of the shop, leaving broken glass and scattered debris.

Police have been told the trio then entered the store, before fleeing in the vehicle with two bottles of soft drink.

The Subaru was last seen travelling south along York Lane.

Officers from Mid North Coast Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Police are urging anyone who may be able to identify the men in the video and images to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
