Thief shoves boy off bike and nicks it

A boy has rolled down an embankment after a heartless thief pushed him off his bike and stole it in Townsville.

The 13-year-old was out riding on Thursday afternoon when a man who was standing on a bike path pushed him off his bike.

The boy rolled down an embankment as the thief climbed onto the bike and took off.

The boy wasn't hurt, but he wants his bike back.

Police are still looking for the offender.
