Thief caught on camera stealing Queensland man’s irreplaceable custom motorbike

A brazen thief has snatched a man's "priceless" custom motorbike from outside a Logan home.

Tony Couger had parked his prized possession for a pitstop at his neighbours home, when another man spotted the lone bike.

Video obtained exclusively by 9NEWS shows the offender mounting the vehicle, before speeding off.

Mr Couger is spotted trying to give chase, but relents as his beloved motorcycle is whisked away.

"I've turned around to notice a man, running across to the motorcycle and my first reaction was .. oh my god!" he said.

The bike was gifted to Mr Couger 15 years ago when "times were tough".

"Everything from a father having multiple heart attacks and strokes that left him unable to walk," he explained.

An eye-catching paint job and custom brakes were among the special features of the vehicle.

"It's priceless, we couldn't do it for a normal customer.."  Brent Barnes from Buddha’s Motorcycle Spray-painting said.

Neighbour Pietro Swalens said he saw the stolen bike being driven in the next suburb of Springwood.

"The fact they weren't wearing helmets .. Immediately gives you suspicion that something's going wrong."

Police continue to search for the offenders.
