'Thanks Jacqui, it’s been a wild ride': Parody video says thanks to outgoing PUP deputy

YouTube pranksters Collective Noun have taken it upon themselves to "say thanks" to Jacqui Lambie on behalf of the Palmer United Party.

In its newest video, the group parodies Facebook's #saythanks campaign to chronicle Lambie's "friendship" with PUP leader and dinosaur enthusiast Clive Palmer following her dramatic exodus from the party.

"It's been a wild ride," the opening reel reads, as notable highlights of the former outspoken deputy's reign are played out in saccharine montages.

From her Insiders interview on sharia law and burqas to that time she asked a radio caller whether he was well-hung, it's all laid to bare in befitting monument.

Lambie announced her plans to sit in the Senate as an independent following a bitter two-week battle with Palmer, in which he called her a "drama queen" and accused her of infiltrating the PUP to destroy it from the inside.

The Tasmanian senator retaliated by accusing Palmer of blocking her attempts to help her home state and seek a better pay deal for Defence personnel.
