Teenagers arrested after Vic grass fire

Two teenagers have been arrested after a suspicious fire was lit in grassland in Melbourne's north.

The fire started in grassland off Harvest Road in Epping about 3pm (AEDT) last Tuesday.

Police believe the fire may have been deliberately lit.

A 16-year-old girl and boy are being interviewed by police.

The Epping boy came forward to a police station on Tuesday afternoon.

The pair were captured on CCTV footage at a petrol station on Tuesday with a small boy.

They were then seen walking through the grassland before the fire started, police said.
