Teenager taken to hospital after near drowning at pool in Ipswich

A 13-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after a near-drowning at a public swimming pool in Springfield Central, Queensland.

There are unconfirmed reports the teenager suffered a medical event in the water at the Orion Lagoon swimming pool this morning.

Bystanders reportedly attempted to perform CPR on the teenager before paramedics arrived.

The girl was conscious before she was transported to hospital.
