A teenager is in hospital after he was struck over the head with a glass bottle during a brawl involving about 20 people in Sydney overnight.
Police were called to reports of a brawl between two groups at West Esplanade in Manly around 10pm.
Investigators believe a group of about 20 unknown people confronted a teenager and his friends, which sparked a brawl.
A 16-year-old boy was hit in the head with a glass bottle during the brawl, and was later taken to Manly Hospital for treatment.
Police have established a crime scene and have asked for any witnesses to come forward.
