Teenage boy and girl charged after allegedly making threats in Redland Bay

Police have charged a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl after they allegedly threatened two people yesterday morning in Redland Bay near Brisbane.

The boy allegedly alluded that he had a knife during the confrontation on Shanahan Street in Redland Bay.

Both teens were allegedly in possession of dangerous drugs and have been charged by police.

The boy has been charged with one count of possession of a knife and possessing dangerous drug and assault, and the girl was charged with two counts of possessing dangerous drugs.

Both will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
