Australian teenager John Moore had been told for years that he might not be able to drive due to his autism diagnosis.

He also became the first student with autism at his driving school to do so.

John’s mother, Antoinette Moore, told TODAY she was incredibly proud he had proved everyone wrong.

“John is the first student from that school to ever achieve this. We are so proud of him,” she said.
