Teen seriously hurt in Qld hit-and-run

A teenager has serious head injuries following a hit-and-run in central Queensland.

The 17-year-old male was run over in the early hours of Saturday morning in the Rockhampton suburb of Berserker, but police have been unable to find the car that left the scene without stopping.

He was treated in Rockhampton Hospital for serious head and chest injuries.
