Teen seriously injured after attempting jump at swimming hole
A teenager has been seriously injured after he tried to jump from the roof of a shelter into a swimming hole in Melbourne.
Authorities were called to Gully Quarry Reserve in Ferntree Gully about 3pm after the 15-year-old boy jumped and struck a railing.
Paramedics rushed the boy to The Royal Children’s Hospital with serious pelvic and arm injuries.

Several people could be seen from the 9NEWS chopper swimming as temperatures soar to 28 degrees in Melbourne.
