Sydney teen charged with intent to murder

A Sydney teenager has been charged with intent to murder after a man was stabbed and a supermarket was robbed in the eastern suburbs.
Police were called to a Maroubra supermarket after reports of an alleged assault and robbery on Sunday afternoon.
Assisted by the Police Dog Unit, officers arrested a 16-year-old boy nearby.

He was charged with cause wounding/grievous bodily harm with intent to murder and robbery while armed with offensive weapon.
A 58-year-old man was taken to St Vincent's Hospital with stab wounds to his back and leg that were not life-threatening.
Police say the man and boy did not know each other.
