Tax cuts big win for working families: PM

Working families are set to be the big winners after the Turnbull government's income tax cut plan cleared the Senate.

Taxpayers will get hundreds of dollars back in their pockets after the full income tax cut package passed the upper house on Thursday.

"We want you to keep more of the money you have earned," Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull told reporters in Canberra.
