Million-dollar lotto prize unclaimed for five months

A mystery lotto winner in Victoria is yet to claim their million-dollar prize 150 days since their lucky numbers were drawn.

The Traralgon shopper won the division one TattsLotto prize of $1,007,593.45 in the draw held on Saturday October 26, 2019.

The ticket was unregistered, so officials have no way of informing the mystery millionaire of their win.

It was purchased at Plaza Lotto, Kiosk 4 Stocklands Traralgon on Franklin Street.

In Victoria, division one winners have six months to claim their prize directly from the Lott.

After this time, the prize can be claimed indefinitely from the Victorian State Revenue Office.

Plaza Lotto owner Ann Hanson said she was still holding out for the lucky shopper to come forward and claim their prize instore.

"Every time someone checks their ticket, we are hoping they are the mystery winner we are searching for," Ms Hanson said.

"It's creating a buzz around the store and everyone has been asking if it has been claimed yet."

The ticket was purchased five months ago and will soon be handed over to State Revenue to hold until someone comes forward.

TattsLotto are asking anyone who might have purchased a ticket around that time from Traralgon to check their old tickets in case it has been overlooked.

"Make sure you check the ticket number on the Lott website, scan the ticket via the Lott app or visit your local retailer to see if you are holding a winner," The Lott spokeswoman Bronwyn Spencer said.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3993 on Saturday 26 October 2019 were 31, 28, 7, 45, 29 and 2, while the supplementary numbers were 6 and 38.
