Woman killed after struck by bus in Tas

A woman has died after she was struck by a bus while crossing the street in Hobart's CBD.

The 46-year-old Queensland woman died at the scene after she was hit while crossing at the intersection between Campbell Street and Macquarie Street on Friday evening.

The 60-year-old male bus driver was unharmed and there were no passengers on the bus.
