Victorians rescued from Tas waterfall

Two Victorians have been airlifted from Tasmania's Adamsons Falls after one of them became injured.

The rescue helicopter was sent to the site in the state's south on Sunday and carried out a difficult high-winch operation to get the injured 25-year-old woman and an uninjured 29-year-old man.

The couple are from Mornington and the woman is in Royal Hobart Hospital in a stable condition.
