Vic duo charged over Tas drug find

A police raid on a Launceston hotel has allegedly found $100,000 worth of the illegal drug ice and resulted in two Victorian men being charged.

Along with the methylamphetamine, detectives say they found thousands of dollars in cash.

A 38-year-old man has been charged with trafficking and will face court on Thursday night, while a 50-year-old man charged with possession and dealing in the proceeds of crime has been bailed to appear in court on September 28.
