Trio unscathed after Hobart shooting

A dispute sparked a shooting in suburban Hobart, police say.

Just before midnight on Tuesday a number of shots from a small-calibre weapon were fired into the front of a house in Boondar Street, Chigwell, causing minor damage but not injuring the three occupants.

"Early investigations suggest this incident was a result of a dispute between two parties known to one another," Detective Sergeant David Gill said, adding that forensic teams remain at the scene.
