Three charged over Tas house fire

Three men have been charged with arson over a house fire which caused $160,000 worth of damage to a unit in northwest Tasmania.

Emergency crews rushed to the blaze in Smithton late on Monday night, and found extensive damage to the unoccupied structure but no injuries.

The three charged men, aged 19, 24 and 58, will appear in court at a later date.
