A TattsLotto ticket bought at Launceston is worth $2.6 million but its owner is yet to claim the prize.

There were eight first-division winners from Victoria, Queensland, the Northern Territory, Western Australia, NSW and Tasmania in Saturday's $21 million draw, with the southern state the only ticketholder yet to be identified.

"The winner could have the multi-million dollar winning ticket burning a hole in their pocket and not even know it," Tatts spokesperson Claire Taylor said on Monday, calling for customers of Newstead Newsagency and Lotto to check their handbags, wallets and glove boxes.
