A coroner will continue hearing evidence into the high-speed rally crash that killed an experienced NSW driver.

John Ernest Mansell, 71, lost control of his Porsche while competing in Targa Tasmania in April 2013 and a toxicology report found a low level of alcohol in his system.

Police crash investigator Nigel Housego, who analysed the crash, will continue his evidence on Tuesday which includes talking Coroner Simon Cooper through a series of photos of the unmarked crest where the car became airborne before slamming into a tree.
