Tas promoter Tim Franklin dies, aged 60

Tasmanian television personality Tim Franklin has died in Hobart, aged 60.

Police say there are no suspicious circumstances linked to his sudden death on Tuesday.

Franklin's career included working as a radio presenter and he was best known for hosting a commercial television gig guide infomercial.

Police later said that initial investigations indicate the death was accidental.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
