Tas population driven by overseas migrants

Overseas migrants have led Tasmania's highest quarter of population growth in five years, new data shows.
The island state's head count grew by 720 to 519,783 in the quarter starting September 2016, according to Bureau of Statistics figures released on Thursday.
The rise in population included 411 overseas migrants, 87 people from interstate and a "natural" increase of 222.
