Tas man faces court after partner stabbed

A Tasmanian man will face court charged with the attempted murder of his partner.

A woman remains in hospital with stab wounds after the pair was found in a partially submerged car near Dunalley in the state's southeast in the early hours of Wednesday.

Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The man is due to face Hobart Magistrates Court on Friday.
