Tas man charged with starting fire

A Tasmanian man has been charged with starting a fire after firefighters put out a scrub fire in eastern Launceston.
The 45-year-old local man was charged on Friday with unlawfully setting fire to vegetation, after firefighters put out a scrub fire in suburban Ravenswood earlier in January.
He has been bailed to appear before the Launceston Magistrates Court on February 3.
