Tas hospital workers allegedly assaulted

Hospital workers in Hobart have restrained a man and woman after the pair allegedly assaulted three of their colleagues, police say.

At about 10am on Thursday officers attended the Royal Hobart Hospital where the duo had tried to remove a relative who is a patient.

"As a result of not agreeing with the medical advice provided, the man and woman resorted to violence and allegedly assaulted three hospital attendants," police said, adding that the trio was not seriously injured.

Charges are expected to be laid later on Thursday.
