More than two months after devastating floods covered northern Tasmania, Premier Will Hodgman says it could take years to measure the full cost, as the damage bill reaches $180 million.

Parts of the island state recorded the worst flooding in 90 years in early June, killing two people with a third still missing, sparking 100 rescues, and damaging 130 properties while ruining agricultural land and vital infrastructure including roads and bridges.

"The full impact of the flood may take some further months or years to be realised," Mr Hodgman told parliament on Tuesday.
