A man will face a special late-night court hearing at Devonport, charged over the suspected murder of his partner in a remote part of northern Tasmania.
The couple from South Australia were bushwalking at Mt Rowland when the 44-year-old woman died in suspicious circumstances, police say.
Her body was found by a search and rescue helicopter on Thursday on the walking track just a short distance from the summit.
