Shake up of Tas electoral system flagged

The Tasmanian Electoral Commission should investigate the feasibility of electronic voting, a parliamentary inquiry has recommended.
An upper house committee on Tuesday released a report outlining 27 findings and 17 recommendations, including that funding be sourced for the research.
The committee also urged full disclosure of campaign donations including in-kind donations become compulsory and that consideration be given to provide public funding for candidates and parties, as Tasmania is only one of two states where such a system doesn't exist.
