Police investigate feud links to Tas fire

A petrol bomb has allegedly been thrown into a suburban Hobart home, with police saying the perpetrator and victims are known to each other.

Just before midday on Monday, emergency crews were called to Cumberland Street at Warrane where a fire at the house caused an estimated $100,000 of damage, but no injuries.

Detective Sergeant Nick Smith described the weapon as a Molotov cocktail and police are searching for a white, two-door Mitsubishi Lancer seen leaving the address.
