March poll still in mind for Tas premier

Tasmania's Liberal government has again confirmed its intention to serve a full term and not call an early election.

Voters in the island state are due to go to the polls next March and Premier Will Hodgman told a parliamentary hearing on Monday that he's still committed to the timeline.

"It's scheduled for March ... that's the plan, that's what we're aiming for," he said.
