A 26-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to murdering another Tasmanian man, whose torso was found in bushland last month.

Jack Harrison Vincent Sadler is accused of killing Jake Daniel Anderson-Brettner, 24, whose partial remains were discovered outside Launceston on August 19, several days after he went missing.

Sadler appeared in Launceston Magistrates Court on Wednesday and will face Launceston Supreme Court on November 19.
