Man charged with stealing $300k in cars

A man has been charged with stealing more than $300,000 worth of cars in the greater Hobart area.

Police say the arrest was a result of a police operation that has been running since early 2014.

The 24-year-old Hobart man was expected to appear in the Hobarts Magistrate's Court on Wednesday and already has eight similar existing charges currently before the courts.
