Man arrested for Tasmanian whiskey theft

A man is in custody after the theft of about 50 bottles of whiskey and vodka from a prize-winning Tasmanian distillery retailer.

Hobart's waterfront Lark Distillery was broken into in the early hours of Friday, with bottles of single malt whiskey among the haul.

A man was arrested and a number of the stolen bottles were recovered, with investigations continuing.
