Inquest into Tas prison deaths continues

A Tasmanian coroner is due to continue hearing evidence about the deaths of three prison inmates.

South Australian man Robin Michael, 63, and 42-year-old Troy Colin Monson died in June 2015 while on remand.

Police have said both men took their own lives.

Scott Clifford Mitchell, 23, died in a minimum security section of Risdon Prison in July from a suspected medical condition.

Coroner Simon Cooper has already heard from several witnesses but on Monday will start a fortnight of further hearings in Hobart.
